OVERVIEW

ENDURA (creusabro)

  • Combines sliding abrasion & impact resistance
  • Surface work-hardens from 470 to 540 Brinell
  • Cut & weld with low-hydrogen rod
  • No pre/post heating necessary
  • High tolerance to high-heat applications
  • Out-performs AR400 & AR500
  • Available in plate 4mm up to 3”

MANGANESE

  • Surface work-hardens from 200 to 550 Brinell upon impact
  • Fully austenitic/non-magnetic
  • 1.0 – 1.4 % Carbon and other alloys allow for work-hardening
  • 25% harder then Low Carbon Manganese
  • ASTM A 128, Grade “B” Hadfield Spec.
  • Available in plate, 4mm up to 2” and bar stock in flats, rounds and squares

MOLY-BOND AR400/AR500/AR600 

  • Water-quenched martensitic steel
  • Typical hardness of 370-420 (AR400), 470-520 (AR500), 570-620 (AR600)
  • Can be cut, machined, drilled, tapped, milled, bent, and welded
  • AR400 for abrasion & moderate impact, AR500/AR600 for severe abrasion & low impact
  • Available in plate 3mm (AR500) and up. *Not recommended for AR600
