Also known as High-Hardness Armor (HHA) plate that is approved for use within the Department of the Army and is available for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense. The steel is quenched and tempered at vary high temperatures to sustain a tough surface for the best levels of protection.
Surface hardness of this material is between 477 and 534 brinell. The thickness range on the material that we carry is .157″ to 0.50″ thick.
